- Reaching out/following up is essential
- Be persistent
- Don’t expect them to have read your CV/portfolio
- Expect certain level of intensity/seriousness so you’ll never be caught off guard (luckily I prepared for the worst)
- Think about how you feel after and if it isn’t positive maybe it isn’t the right position/company
- No shame in not pursuing something
- Do not read into people’s facial expressions
- I don’t want to go into concept art anymore
- An admin/non creative role would suit me better
